What is your question?
Bought my 2012 Dodge journey a month ago from a dealership as is with really bad rear brakes and come to find out just yesterday my passenger side reverse light was out so I replaced it but still did not work and while I was checking things out I noticed I had no license plate lights while also checking out the no license plate light problem I come to find out that the interior lights on the trunk door did not work either
How long has your 2012 Dodge Journey had this problem?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. You are on the right track by thinking that there may be a problem that is connecting the various symptoms you are experiencing. I am surprised that only one reverse light is not working but the other one is apparently working? It would seem that the wiring harness that supplies power to the lights may be interrupted due to a short or open circuit. It will take some troubleshooting and circuit testing starting at the point of failure and following it back through the harness using a wiring diagram to learn what wires serve what function, and then continue to find where those wires go and continue to test continuity to the point of failure. Although it is a regular that you have some bulbs out and others not, it doesn't hurt to check all fuses to make sure nothing has been blown. You may also wish to verify how this vehicle is equipped and if there are any non-factory components installed where lighting is concerned. If there is a non-factor item, this variable could cause problems for the system in general.
