Best bet, so you don't set fire to the car due to a direct short, is to locate the CAUSE of the fuse blowing.what amp fuse is it and is it located in the 'underhood' fuse box? Under what conditions does the fuse blow? As soon as you install it, or when you turn on the key? Or something else?
