I hear a rattling noise when I start up my car?

EYES AND EARS can be most useful in these types of troublesome instances. Perhaps , open hood , then have someone start car (please for safety put parking brake on and keep it in 'park'). If needed , lean over and look under car and see if the rattle is coming from anything under there. Reply with results of phase one diagnosis , for suggestions on how to proceed further.
