What is your question?
Our van was completely dead, so I got a jumpstart. After driving around the neighborhood, I came home and parked it, and turned it off. The next morning it was dead again. Got another jumpstart, and came home after driving it. After 1 hour, it was dead again. Is it the alternator that needs to be replaced, along with the battery? Or is there something else going on?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Yes, it used to be worse when the engine is cold.
How long has your 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan had this problem?
A couple of days

Replace battery - - probably should have charging system tested - however IF the alternator wasn't working (charging) you would not be able to drive the vehicle .. The engine would stall from the lack of voltage! This is assuming there isn't something draining the battery while it is parked - that is a 'possibility' ..
