2001 Dodge Grand Caravan need to reset the gas gauge to read correctly after replacing fuel pump

How long ago was the fuel pump replaced? For the 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, you should not have to adjust anything. If the pump was just installed, someone has bent the float arm or it was a defective fuel pump assembly.
