I sounds like you have two different issues going on here. The gauges on you instrument cluster work in conjunction with the Body Control Module (BCM), where as the HVAC Control is self contained. Also, the Instrument Cluster circuit board sould be considered suspect. Check all fuses, if ok, i suggust having a qualified technician diagnois the vehicle
