Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Durango. When you’ve got multiple electrical issues happening all at once—like dash lights going crazy, wipers staying on, turn signals not working, and shifting problems— it would lead us to believe that the headlight control circuit is shorted to other systems in the car. Due to the number of systems involved, it could point to a faulty Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). The TIPM is like the brain of your vehicle’s electrical system, and when it starts to fail, it can cause all sorts of strange behavior, especially when certain systems like the headlights are activated. It’s also worth checking for any signs of water intrusion into electrical junction. Since this diagnosis could get pretty tricky, it may be best to consult a trusted repair shop nearby. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered. Give us a call at 877-913-1554, and we will happily help you out!
