What is your question?
I have a 2005 Dodge Durango 5.7 hemi and it's been shutting off while driving and idle. It doesn't happen all the time though. Also it hesitates sometimes on acceleration. Almost like it's running out of gas but I always have plenty of gas. Another issue is the check engine light goes on and off once and in awhile. We replaced camshaft sensor already but still have these problems. My mechanic can't seem to find any codes that would be causing this either.

Hello, I would strongly advise to find a technician that can do a proper diagnosis on your vehicle. It doesn't sound terribly complicated; my gut feeling is you have air getting into the engine when not desired, causing it to starve for fuel and then stall. This can happen from vacuum leaks or un-metered air leaks into the engine. Your check engine light is going to give you clues to troubleshoot. Replacing parts like a camshaft sensor will not cause what you are experiencing. I strongly advise you to consult another opinion.
Well we brought our truck to an auto store and they connected it for us for a diagnostic test. The camshaft sensor came up and that's why we changed it. Our mechanic can't figure out what's wrong either, it's frustrating. I know we do have a small leak in the coolant hose but I don't know if that would cause these problems we are having.
I appreciate the steps you have taken, but just so you are aware: the camshaft sensor code often sets when the vehicle stalls, not as an indication of a problem with that sensor, but just the engine's computer recognizing that there is no further signal coming through that sensor as expected -- which is because the engine stalled. My previous notes stand, and sadly you probably need to get a second opinion from another shop near you. Best of luck.
Ty I appreciate your input. Would a low batter cause these problems. I was told it was a bit low when I had it tested.
This does not sound like a battery problem. Low battery voltage can cause many different concerns, but stalling and warning lights coming on is not one of them typically.
