Hello, a thorough starting and charging system inspection should be carried out. This starts with testing the battery with a proper tester. Reference voltage needs to be within specifications, as well as the ability to hold a load. Once this passes, checking the starter and related components, including cables, is next. If the starter is binding internally or has excessive resistance causing excessive draw when attempting to crank, the starter may not even turn. Finally, also make sure your engine turns! If the engine is binding internally for some reason, the starter will not function of course. Good luck!
