Hello, sure - your fuel could be contaminated. It would be necessary to take a fuel sample and have it analyzed. The fuel can be pumped out of your vehicle and fresh fuel added if that's what's wrong. You could also have some other kind of engine performance issue, or an evaporative emissions system concern.
