Idling funny and cuts out

What is your question?

When I first take off it make a loud noise in the front like the sound of a hole in the exhaust (but dont have) and then at a stoplight it idles up and down and sometimes stalls. The code for the check engine is small emissions leak. Any ideas what it might be?

Had same problem, I installed a new throttle position sensor, problem solved

I'm gussing it could be time for a tune-up, as for the noise i have no clue,sorry

check the evap line coming off of the throttle body to the purge pump beside the battery, they dry rot and crack. simple fi 12 dollars worth of hose at napa half hour install for a joe schmo
