uses more fuel than normal and smells from exhaust

What is your question?

The truck has been tuned up twice over the last two years as thought may have been the problem. The vehicle runs fine but uses more fuel than normal( running rich) and has a odor from the exhaust not consistent with catalytic convertors but just not sure about common problems or part failure.
