What is your question?
Hi, 2001 Durango R/T. How do I adjust the parking brake? In about 1/10 times I park on a hill I put the Durango in neutral and push the parking brake pedal to the floor and the brake doesn’t hold the car. It didn’t used to be a problem so I figure it’ll only get worse so I’d like to tighten (right terminology?) the parking brake before it gets worse. Thanks!
What makes this problem better or worse?
N/A
How long has your 2001 Dodge Durango had this problem?
A few weeks

The parking brake is driven by rear drum brakes via brake cables. If the rear shoes are not adjusted properly or are worn out,, they may not take hold properly. An inspection of the rear brakes and the "self adjuster" mechanisms is in order. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
