i have a dodge durango 4.7liter v8 magnum engine 2000 model and i need to know how can i measure my oil level where should it be and if it drops under the safe level should i add or change the oil urgent answer needed plz

Does not your car have a dip stick? If it has the Mercedes style dip stick, then you need to buy one to check you own oil. I would first take care of the leak, before you blow up your engine. If the oil sending unit is bad, your could lose all your oil in 3-4 blocks!!!! Why risk it?
