Hello, first, I'm concerned that you have a 2000 engine in a 2001 vehicle. If you used only the block and heads, and maintained absolutely everything else -- then maybe you're ok. If you used 2001 components with a 2000 engine processor, you might be fighting something you will never resolve. That's the problem with not using proper components -- you create variables you could never possibly figure out, because some things are simply not compatible. I'm sorry I can't even get into the theory of what your issue could be. It's all because all bets are off when you mix components that may not be compatible.
