Hello, first, I'm concerned that you have a 2000 engine in a 2001 vehicle. If you used only the block and heads, and maintained absolutely everything else -- then maybe you're ok. If you used 2001 components with a 2000 engine processor, you might be fighting something you will never resolve. That's the problem with not using proper components -- you create variables you could never possibly figure out, because some things are simply not compatible. I'm sorry I can't even get into the theory of what your issue could be. It's all because all bets are off when you mix components that may not be compatible. Perhaps seeking guidance from a hands on technician local to you will be of help.
I have a 2000 Dodge Durango four-wheel-drive 5.9 L engine took motor out rebuilt motor with 2000 5.9 engine parts and since I put the motor back together I keep getting two codes are P0132 and P0138 in the motor runs real rough at idle and backfires and causes the muffler to blow apart Both O2 sensors have been replaced
