my 1999 dodge durango just stopped while i was driving. i have changed the coil and fuel pump. now i am told it could be the brain and it has two, the trans computer and the engine computer, do u have to change both of them in order for the car to start. changed one of them and still not working. do i need to change both? please help, i am desperate and very limited on money and need my vehicle.

if needed only the engine ECM would be changed, you may want to confirm that there is power at the fuel pump before anything else, the wiring and connectors are known to corrode and fall apart on there. make sure and check all the basics before just throwing parts at it..
