Headlights turning on and off.....sorta.

What is your question?

I just got this truck and the previous owner seemed to do some aftermarket headlights, they turn on and flicker in a very low mode when I close my door hard, unlock/lock the truck etc. the only way to get them off is to have my key on the second to last off position and then they turn off in a minute or so?

What makes this problem better or worse?

can only tell at night since it is a low setting

How long has your 2007 Dodge Dakota had this problem?
