What is your question?
Spent 2800$, had steering gear assembly replaced, upper control arms RWD, rack and pinion replaced, stabilizer bushing and control link replaced. Truck made the same noise when I drove off after paying 2800. When I brought it back they said now it was lower control arms need replaced and lower strut bushing and inner arm bushing worn. Question: would they notice a leak in the power steering pump and/or reservoir because I lost my power steering six days later and now I am told my power steering pump went out and it will cost $650.00. Prior to the first repair, I never had any issues with the steering. When I drove it after the first repair the steering was tight and hard to back the truck in because the steering wheel was too tight. Any insight would be great. Thank you.

It is difficult for anybody in this forum to speak out against workmanship of a shop because we don't really know what happened and the circumstances upon bringing the vehicle in. I understand your point of view, and in this case it feels like something didn't go right from the beginning. I am more concerned about steering gear replacement and power steering work that was done in the first place prior to now having a pump concern. In all honesty the best way to assert your concerns and come to some kind of resolution is to meet with the management of the repair shop you are working with and explain what you are experiencing and why you feel it doesn't seem right. Certainly if you would like another opinion, consult a repair shop in the link below. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
