What is your question?
My 2003 dodge Dakota won’t pass smog. Test says a catytic code and needs drive cycle. I’ve driven over 500 miles but still won’t pass. This happened last year and the problem was a sensor near the catalytic converter. Catalytic converter was replaced last year.

Hello, if you have an actual diagnostic trouble code setting related to the catalyst, your diagnostic monitors will never set. You'll need to resolve the code first. This means you could have a concern with the catalytic converter itself - which - in California - requires usually an original equipment part to be installed, as the replacement parts must be CARB certified (California Air Resources Board). This can be quite pricey. I'd recommend having a proper evaluation performed to find out what is going on.
