What is your question?
I have a 2003 dodge dakota 8v and the entire seat wont move front or back. It is not the lever to adjust the back of the seat but a handle on the lower side of the seat to move the whole seat back and forth. It just spins loosely. What is it called? What do you need to fix it?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing helps. It just spins and doesn't move the seat
How long has your 2003 Dodge Dakota had this problem?
months

Hello, I'd just call it a seat adjustment lever. This lever attaches to then seat and seat track. There's either something restricting the seat track preventing seat movement, or the release could be a concern. This will require some investigation including possibly removing the seat to inspect the track and frame and release mechanism. Once investigated it can either be released or repaired, or parts may be required -- impossible to know without hands on inspection. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
