Can't move out of park

I appreciate the fast reply..I was able to get it to change gears..but the funniest thing is I have my rear end off the ground an I am able to rotate the tires when it's in park an if I move the drive shaft an push the gear out it moves to it.but not able to move tires.like it in park. Could I somehow made backwards when I installed the vavlebody???..

I'm very sorry to say: anything is possible and not being a part of the internal repairs I can't possibly guess. I know you're trying to repair your vehicle, but when you approach it while not following explicit shop manual instructions and you modify your vehicle, it can be impossible to know the outcome or how to repair the vehicle.
