How do you test the sensors on a Dodge Dakota V8 magnum? Stalls out /give it gas

What is your question?

Runs ok for a few seconds then putters out and dies when I press the gas pedal ! In a few min. I can do it all over again! Checked the fuel pump and it's working. Before this happened it ran great!
