For some reason, your engine is losing either spark, air or fuel, or could even have some kind of exhaust restriction, although not likely based off of your description. The air conditioning compressor could also be worn and causing excessive drag on your engine. Too many "maybe's" -- consult a local technician perhaps to assist with diagnostic testing.
