WHERE DOES THE TRANS FLUID GO ON A STICK SHIFT

You clutch is slipping, and neither the transmission or clutch hydraulic fluid will have an effect on this. If you have a sticking clutch cable or clutch master cylinder this could happen, but your most likely looking at a new clutch.

Trans grease 80/90 wht goes in trans on the drivers side about half way up the side of trans. If the eng revs up when takeing off it might be the clutch is slipping.

Yep new clutch. Cost me just under $700 at AAMCO including new U joints and resurfacing flywheel. Mine died really fast- first it was slipping in 4th, then on day 3 it was doing it in 2nd so I had to take it in on day 4.
