Fixed mine. All I did was cleaned out my throttle body and replaced the speed sensor. Not sure if the speed sensor caused the problem but the speedometer and odometer/tripometer quit working about the same time this problem started so I had to replace it anyways. $5 can of throttle body cleaner and $100 sensor.
my 2003 is doing the exact same thing that you posted earlier, i changed plugs wires cap & rotor, put a new idle air control valve in my truck & im still having the same problem. i dont have the money to bring it to a mechanic. how do i go about cleaning the throttle body? is there anything tricky i should know & how hard is it to change the speed sensor?
