I have been pulling my hair out with computer issues, I have 3 computers sitting here, on is the original, the voltage regulator went in it about a month ago, the next one will start and charge the vehicle, but only when the compter itself is warmed up (let's say I put it in the oven at 200 for a few mins) and then the truck will run fine no matter what temperature until I shut it off again and the computer is cold, the last one is a reman I bought from a local parts store, this one will do the same as the first, it will start the truck but will not charge it. Is it possible I actually have 3 bad PCM's sitting here? or am I missing something? I know you can wire in a external voltage regulator also, does anyone know how to do that?
