A/c will not kick on reading -40. Changed the ambient temperature sensor still nothing. At a stand still don’t know what I should check next.

What is reading -40? Your climate control display? Outside temperature display? The ambient outdoor temperature display is located near the front bumper beam. Interior temperature sensor is located in the area of the steering column. Seems like testing and workshop manual direction may be helpful. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
