What is your question?
My car has white smoke coming from tailpipe. It smells like coolant. It isnt thick white smoke but it’s a little excessive .I recently changed the oil cooler on it since it was overheating and had a coolant leak from that. But shortly after it started with white smoke, only on cold starts and the smoke would go away after it heating up. The coolant goes low but comes back to where I marked it after I had drive on it. it dosnt overheat neither really loose coolant. I thought it would be an head gasket but I’m not sure. What would be the problem? And am I able to drive it for now until I figure the problem out?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Its worse when engine is cold and better when its heated
How long has your 2012 Dodge Charger had this problem?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Charger. White smoke coming from the tailpipe, especially when it smells like coolant, can indicate a coolant leak into the combustion chamber. This could indicate a failing head gasket, even if your car isn't overheating. The fact that the smoke goes away when the engine warms up, and you're not losing much coolant yet suggests it's still in the early stages. However, continuing to drive the vehicle could worsen the issue, leading to more significant engine damage over time. It's best to get this inspected as soon as possible.
