My car will turn over but won’t fully start been told it’s the fuel pump I changed it and that didn’t work. Changed the crank sensor and that didn’t. It’s a crank but no starts. Cranks at a consistent pace and when it try’s to bark off it backfires when giving gas nothing happens. I have no clue at this point.

Hi This is Bo @ CarGenius! There is a cam sensor as well that could prevent it from starting. Have you replaced the timing belt recently? It could be off a few teeth or broken. Checking the fuel pump relay or injector fuses would be an easy first step!
