What is your question?
Ive got 2007 dodge charger se 4d sedan v6 2.7l. My key turning over allowing all lights to come on but isn't allowing me to switch key over to last click that allows ignition to turn over and crank... could it be the actuator that is broke in the ignition and if so does that mean I will need a whole new ignition or is there a way around that? Or could It be something else?
What makes this problem better or worse?
I left keys in car and went inside a min im afraid someone did something to it...
How long has your 2007 Dodge Charger had this problem?

Hey there! This is bo with the Car Genius team at Repair Pal. Your key dilemma could be an issue with the ignition actuator or the ignition switch itself. The actuator might be worn out or broken, preventing the key from moving all the way to the start position. First, try gently jiggling the steering wheel while turning the key; sometimes, the wheel lock can interfere. If that doesn't work, you might need a mechanic to check the actuator and ignition switch. It might not need a whole new ignition, but a repair or replacement of the actuator could be necessary. Let’s get this sorted so you can start up without a hitch! If you have any other questions, please call us at 877-913-1554! We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area!
