Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. Replacing the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) on your Charger isn't too tricky, but it does require care and attention. First, disconnect the battery to avoid electrical issues. Then, locate the PCM, usually under the hood near the firewall or fuse box. Once you find it, unplug the wiring harnesses and remove the mounting bolts. Install the new PCM by reversing the process. After installation, the new PCM may need to be programmed to your car, which usually requires a professional with specialized equipment. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
