Has been sitting for 5months in garage when I started it today it making a loud whining noise and smoking should it do that

My car is the 5.7 hemi motor rt it has sat in my garage for last 4-5 months not being used . Today when I started her up she made a loud whining noise which it has never done each time I started her and was smoking in rear left side . It also has what I belie ve to be oil & water by valve cover
