2006 R/T CHARGER. Transmission is acting like the converter is bad??

What is your question?

It shifts good through all speeds HARD and when down shifting the engine binds up and downshifts HARD. Coming to a stop sometimes it will kill the engine as if you forgot to push the clutch in on a manual trans. But it starts up fine and drives ok again except for the hard shifts. Any ideas??

certainly sounds as if you have a trans issue , but keep in mind chrysler transmissions are pretty durable sans the electronics. Would suggest you have it diagnosed by a reputable repair shop. if you choose to take it to a transmission shop , buyer beware
