What is your question?
drove car one day and it started leaking water so I stopped driving it. Mechanic came and saw it was leaking water from back center of motor. He replaced the oil cooler housing was cracked. I drove the car for about a month. Car started to over heat again. Mechanic checked it could not figure it out. So what I did was remove thermostat and car was good for about another 2 weeks. So I changed water pump and put thermostat back in. I think I purged the air out of it correctly but now car over heats pretty quick. bought the car new a few years ago. I did every recall there was for that car. I still owe about a year till its paid off. I have spent over $1000 on it these past 2 months and my car is still sitting in the drive way like a big paper weight useless. P.S The fan works like it should and there is no codes and no check engine light on and no coolant leaks either. The water pump was leaking before I replaced it.There is no water in the oil. The car has 100,000 miles on it.
What makes this problem better or worse?
nothing seems to fix the over heating problem now.
How long has your 2013 Dodge Challenger had this problem?

Critical question of the day: What have you ever done to TEST the cooling system to find out what it is doing? Have you pressure tested the cooling system? Have you checked for exhaust gases getting into the coolant reservoir? Have you again verified no air in the system? Purging can be very difficult and dangerous without the proper tooling. When does the "overheating" occur, and what indicates to you that it is overheating?
With thermostat now installed - (as it should always be) - air will be more difficult to purge!
