First, a physical inspection of the mechanical components is needed. Are caliper pistons moving as they should, are caliper slides free of corrosion and moving freely? If you have warning lights coming on, troubleshooting for the anti-lock brake system should be performed using a suitable chassis based diagnostic tool. The tool should be able to retrieve chassis module codes and also monitor components controlled by the chassis based modules. Sounds like this concern has been occurring for quite some time for even the previous owners. Strongly recommend a repair shop near you have a look using years of skill and knowledge, technical resources like tools and diagnostic equipment and shop manuals. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
