What is your question?
Battery light comes on intermittently. Doesnt go out until you shut off and restart. Gets a few minutes before itll come back on. Can a belt that looks good, no fraying, no cracks be a cause? New alternator and a known good battery. Terminals clean cables tight. No over heating or any other problems. Voltage checks out good when running and no light then when light is on at about 11+/- volts
How long has your 2001 Dodge Caravan had this problem?
A few weeks

Hello, a belt can cause a battery light to come on if it is slipping on the alternator pulley, causing the alternator to not spin fast enough to put out enough amperage to recharge the battery. 11 volts is definitely not enough, but what about amperage output when the engine is running at 2,000 RPM? A "new alternator" doesn't mean it's working. You can't assume that. Some come out of the box faulty. Lastly, you'll want to check the alternator wiring connector and harness to make sure there is no damage or issue in that area.
