Hello, The easiest way to find the leaking freeze plug is to follow the trail of dried coolant on the oil pan and following it up to the freeze plug. However, you may not have a leaking freeze plug at all, since that is only one possibility. I recommend filling the coolant with water, then connecting a pressure tester. That will allow you to visualize the leak as it is occurring. If you cannot see a leak happening, but there is a pressure loss, I would suggest that the leak is internal to the engine.
