Van started making a noise today. When starting the van and while it is in Park before putting it in gear, loud squealing noise is coming from the drivers side of the engine bay (underneath). (The engine belts are on the passenger side of the bay so this is something different.) Noise gets worse when accelerator is pressed. When driving the van goes a few blocks and then loses gear while driving, engine stays running but van won't move. Had to sit in the road for a few minutes trying to get it back in gear. Did get it home but this happened 3-4 times along the way. Van was fine before today.
