car went dead

I would pull the codes. Possibly your shut down relay went out. This will shut off power to major systems in the engine. When you check for power at the coil, are you cranking the engine because Dodge will turn of the power after 6-8 seconds if the engine is not running. ( kind of a pain when inspecting a problem) I would crank the engine and check for spark ( maybe you have but be sure that there is or is not spark while cranking ) you can get a test spark plug at the parts store.
