I read online that this procedure is a straight swap and you get larger amouts of fuel making good increases in horsepower. do you know?

no. don't know what the two look like. but they will have different flow ratings. so if they do fit see if they use the same part number or have them flow rate tested. it's probably cheaper just to buy the right ones.
