What is your question?
My 2012 Dodge caliber suddenly had a hard time starting first thing in the morning. It began to crank awhile but eventually started. I turned the car off and on three times and it started fine. I have it over at the mechanics now but wonder what I should be on the look out for with issues or upcoming.

Hello, it sounds like you had some extended cranking from the engine before starting. This can be caused by any number of engine performance issues - related to ignition spark, fuel delivery, air to the intake, emissions controls and even anti-theft device controls. Testing will be required by a technician - as you are doing according to your question, and they will inspect all these areas to see where there is a malfunction occurring. If the problem is not present right now, it may take continued testing during a time that the problem does occur, so it can be caught in the act.
