Have the above code and I have the detail of what the code is but not sure on how to diagnose and repair the problem. Could anyone assist me on this repair.. Thanks

This means that the Bank 1 Sensor 1 Oxygen Sensor is stuck Lean. Look at this article I wrote about lean conditions http://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0171-and-P0174 I hope that it will help you, don't assume that it is an Oxygen Sensor problem, first verify that the Oxygen Sensor is defective.
