What is your question?
I have a 2007 dodge caliber set 2.4L it has a lot of issues with the wiring. The first issue I had was the headlights. I had only 1 hi beam on one side and and only 1 low beam on one side, so I jumped the other side with a wire from the side that worked and that worked for a while until eventual I only had 1 high beam that I jumped to have 2 headlights but hibeam only. The next issue I had was the failure to start, turns out because of the placement of the relay fuse box I. The wheel well, which my cover eventually shredded because my bottom plastic guards were not put back on and the tire shredded the wheel well cover causing the relay box to be exposed and cause corrosionN I cleaned and replaced the relay box started again. Next issue I had was fuel pump would not turn on and car would not start. I added a jump wire from a working fuse in the fuse box to the fuel pump fuse in the box that for some reason was no longer getting power to it, and the car started again. Then...tbc
What makes this problem better or worse?
I think the over all problem is the wiring harness and the ground e c
How long has your 2007 Dodge Caliber had this problem?

The first fuse box jump wire was from 16 to 26. Car started again. Then had issue that my car would not start because it wasnt grounded. I added another jump wire to the fuse box connecting 5 and 4. Car started again. Then the throttle control went out, car was revving without touching the gas pedal seem stuck wide open, but push the gas did nothing, but push the brake and it would stop revving. Replaced the throttle body, the had a couple coil packs go out. Replaced them and went to a scrap yard and found another caliber and replaced the entire wiring harness. Also my starter wire was bad and used a jump wire to touch the pos battery post to start the car, eventually put in a push button start so i didnt have to open the hood every time i started the car. So after I replaced the wiring harness, and fuse box, and relay box, everything started working again, I could even start the car with the key again! Then the starter went out the same problem that caused the push button issue, and after replacing the starter I had to go back to the push button start. My lo-beams still both work but one high-beam is out. And wierd that I was having issue every time the front right tire hit a pothole or bump the same high-beam light would go out, the abs and brake light come on and my speedometer would drop to 0, even though I was doing 60, I replaced the plug on bulb for the head light and my low beam started working again. But still no ho-beam. And I have to hit a really hard bump but the the abs and break light will come on, not as frequent since replacing the headlight plug, the ground wire was coming out of the back of it. So after I had the ground issue, I had an issue when I would start the car and go, it wouldn't go, you could floor it and never get past 30 mph. I found out if I turned it off and restarted it it would run fine. If I dont put my foot on break, turn on key, push button start, put it in gear, and push gas to move in a steady motion if I hesitate or wait too long or do it too fast the transmission kicks really hard going into gear and the car will be in limp mode and wont go over 30. Turn the car off and restart using the steady motion works every time. Until a week or so ago it wouldn't work, I tried to reset the tcm, the throttle, the pcmcia, I had someone clear the codes and it wiped my tcm and quit working, I replaced the tcm with the one that I got with the new wiring harness and as long as I do the steady motion to start every time it drives fine,. My most recent issue has been the throttle control light came on again, and this time no revving it is hesitating, and jerking at slow speeds, it does better at higher speeds but when i let up at all on the gas pedal it jerks and hesitates and sounds like it is slamming my motor on the mounts feel the hesitation in the whole car, I replaced the throttle and reset it but the problem is not going away. I have no codes for the throttle only transmission codes p0848 p0700 and u1146, I replaced the pressure switch, checked the wiring, going to do a voltage test next. I will let you know what I discover. Btw I ain't paying dodge to fix these problems I have done all the solutions and resolutions to their screwed up systems on my own. With help from people on here that have talked about similar issues. These were my fixes to their f... ups.
