That could be the crank shaft sensor.I know the 3.8 from Chevy had major issues with that.a friend had one that was doing the same and after we replaced that sensor it was happy.Not sure what that entails on your car but it wouldn't hurt to look into it.it was fairly simple on the Chevy and they're bad about making things hard to work on.
