Had blown reverse lights, changed them now I have no brake lights or turn signal

Check your tail light grounds, and connections.

Put the lenses back on so that I could go get it checked out, and everything started working again just fine!

as soon a I put the lenses back on to go to the auto parts store, everything started working again....hmmmm
