I have a 94 Dodge B25 Ram Van. I was driving at night and everything went dead. I took it to my shop and $1000 later it turned out to be a fusable wire in front of the auto transmission. It drove me and my mechanics crazy. Hope this helps anybody with same problem. Good Luck
check main fuse, see any sparks when hooking battery back up or when trying to jump start?
I checked main fuse and all the fuses are good. No there is no spark at all.
sorry,i mean was there any sparks from the battery when hooking back up or trying to jump start it?
Now there is no spark.
I DON'T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I ASKED YOU!IN OTHER WORDS,WAS THE BATTERY HOOKED UP BACKWARDS AT ANY TIME?
No it was never in backwards it was in forward. Not sure why its no connection now the cables look good and the battery tested good
by backwards i mean was the positive cable hooked to the negative post on the battery, and was the negative cable hooked to the positive terminal on the battery?
Yes thank you yea it was never in backwards.....thanks i knew what you were referring to. Its so weird cause normally you get some kinda light. ..im thinking when he took it out maybe he rushed and shorted something in the line...i was read somewhere it can be the main battery fuse but i called dodge and they said there is no such fuse..mhave u heard of a main battery fuse and if so where is it located
