It was working when I parked it (I have it set to sound the honk on lock) so I know it worked. i went out the next morning to get something, locked it, and no horn. I tried the panic button but still nothing. is there a relay? a fuse? if so where is it, because the mechanic wants to charge me $300 to fix it. I am not inexperienced, I just hate working on cars that were made after the 90s...
How long has your 2011 Dodge Avenger had this problem?

It's possible it's a fuse but if they are quoting $300 it may be the siren horn itself or a clock spring. Check the fuses but I'm sure it's more than that. If you want a second opinion then use this link to find a good shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
