My car idle terrible or may shut off when raining

What is your question?

My car tends to idle really bad sometimes time when I am at a stop light and when it rains it gets worst and sometimes even has shuts off on me when I hit my brakes to stop. Is there any suggestion to what is causing this?

Many Dodge Avengers that were made in 2008 have a problem with the crankshaft sensor connector. Some were made with oversized terminals for the connection, causing intermittent connection at the crankshaft sensor. This leads to a rough idle. I suggest that you bring the avenger to an auto repair facility with a scantool. They will be able to properly pin-point the problem.
