Mechanic said we had head gasket leaking oil on the outside at back of engine. Puddles oil on driveway. checked oil filter, plug, pan and replaced a valve cover gasket. Still have oil leak

There is a service bulletin that was put out by Dodge September 17, 1999 in which Multi-Layer steel head gaskets have been developed. This new gasket provides superior sealing characteristics,but will require extra in installation where a composite gasket was previously in placed.
