Car just died

Sounds like your fuel pump went out. when you turn the key on can you hear the fuel pump in the gas tank turn on. You should hear a buzzing sound. If you hear a buzzing sound then the problem is with the fuel filter. "which is probably stopped up and needs to be replaced"
